Editorial Look 1: (Dolly Look) Styling, Make-up and Hair Designs

Outfits and accessories:
For my accessories, I have decided to use a bold shape earrings as I think it will be suitable for the dolly look. The color matches the pastel colors and therefore I choose this pair of earrings for my final shoot.
As flower hand bands and blue colors are one of the biggest trends in S/S 2016, I also wanted to present this idea as M.A.C considers latest fashion trends as well. Rather than putting it on the head as part of the hair accessories, I have decided to put it around the model's neck and it becomes the neck choker which is one of the neck accessories trends.
For the outfit, I have chosen a pastel pink blouse with a round neckline as I think it will work well together with the flower headband on the neck. I also like the details on the middle of the shirt and I like the way it shows a girly look as well which matches the idea of the dolly look.

Make-up Designs -

Design 1:
For design 1, I have used the idea from SS16 makeup trends, dolly lashes and combined with pastel pink colors and create a look based on that. As M.A.C is an expert of colors, I want to make the colors bold and vibrant. The look is inspired by the 60s as the use of fake lashes and bold pink pastel colors on the eyes. For the lips, I have left it as a pale pink color as to reference to 60's makeup. Pale pink lips was popular at the time. Soft pink blushes are used on here and contouring as well.
Design 2:
For design 2, I have used bold colors on the eyes, fake lashes and also it links to the 60's as well by the use of  bold pastel colors on the eyes and fake lashes and the crease makeup which gives a more dolly look.
Design 3:
For design 3, I have combined the idea of lashes and as it links to the 60's and also how M.A.C considers historical looks from the past and create some innovative and new make-up ideas. I have used pastel colors on the eyes while I have added brown color on the outer V area to make the crease stand out which is how the 60's did for themselves as well as it is a fashion trend. I have used pale pink lips which links to the 60's as well.
Chosen Design: Design 3
I have used design 3 for my final design as I like how it looks different to the other two designs by the use of soft pastel colors on the lids rather than bold color pigments. It links to the 60s look and I like the way the lashes are placed.

Hair Designs -
Design 1: For the first hair style I want to curl the hair with hair tongs and secure the hair with hair pins to secure the shape of the hair. The hairstyle looks cute and also reference 1940's hair rollers on the head style.

Design 2: For design 2, I want to use middle parting as it is one of the hairstyle trends in S/S16. I will use the Babyliss deep wave to create the deep waves pattern for the hairstyle to create a girly, dolly look.

Design 3: For design 3, I will straighten the hair first and make a side parting. The hair will be sleek and tidy and the hair on the side will put behind the ears. The hairstyle is inspired by Twiggy's hairstyle from 1960s and I want to design a modern version of the hairstyle on below.

Chosen Design- Design 3

As my model has short hair, I think the most suitable design will be design 3. Also as the hair reference a historical hairstyle, it reflects on how M.A.C consider cultures and historical backgrounds of a look. My model has got pastel pink colors and I think the color will pick up nicely with this hairstyle as well.
