As I have said before in the previous blog post, I think the yellow color around the eye area, the color is not bright and bold enough and so on below, I have tried and experiment with different products to test the color and see which product makes the color stands out more from the skin.
Top: M.A.C Lip Mix #YellowMiddle: M.A.C Lip Mix #Yellow with Supracolor palette #Yellow
Bottom: Supracolor palette #Yellow with Barry M Bold Gold Waterproof eyeliner
Top: M.A.C Lip Mix #Yellow
The color doesn't appeared bright enough and when you look at the makeup from far away, you can't really see much color around the eyes.
Middle: M.A.C Lip Mix #Yellow with Supracolor palette #Yellow
I think this method works better than the method on above as it picks up the yellow color and it looks more bright and stand out from the skin. The lines are seen more clearly from far away.
After that I have tried out on my hands to see and test if there is a difference with the application (apply supracolor first or lip mix first?). On below, I have tested them on the back of my hand.
Top: Supracolor palette #Yellow first, then Lip Mix #Yellow
Bottom: Lip Mix #Yellow, then Supracolor palette #Yellow
It appears and shows a big difference after I have applied the color on the back of my hand. The bottom method picks up the yellow brighter and more and so I have decided to use the method from the bottom one for my final design.
On below, I have tried the whole look on myself to see how it looks like.
As in the test shoot blog post, I have commented that I will be using a hair bungee for my final design instead of using elastic hairbands because it helps to give a neater and cleaner finish. On below, I have made some hair bungee with hair bands and bobby pins.
I think this time the hair is more neat and sleek than before.
I have also adjusted my design as well and on below, I have tested out three designs on the ponytail and see which one looks the best and suitable for my design.
Design 1 - Rope Twist
Design 2 - 3 strand braids
Design 3 - Rope twist and I have twist the hair when doing the hair
I have decided to use the rope twist (design 1)which helps me to give a more clean finish and more structure to the hair. Apply wet look hair gel onto the ponytail. Also, this time, I have take a strand of hair from the ponytail before making the rope twist and I have wrapped it around the hair bungee as I want to hide it and give a better style for the look. Remember to put some wet look hair gel to the end part of the hair as well. On the other hand, because I think the back of the hair look a bit boring and so I have bought a big metallic silver clip which is one of the spring and summer 2016 accessories trends and place it onto the hair as decorations. I have placed it above the hair bungee.
