Catwalk Look 1 - Ideas, Mood board, Model Choice, Outfits, Make-up and Hair designs

Model Choice:

My model choice for catwalk look 1, I have asked Mireia as my model as I'm looking for a model with big eyes and dolly face. The reason is that from Antonio Marras 2016 S/S fashion show, the models' makeup and hair feature a dolly look. Another reasons are because I think Mireia looks feminine and she suits the outfit and accessories which I've bought for the shoot and also I want a model with dark curly hair as it will help me to create a softer texture hairstyle.

Outfits and accessories:

I have bought the earrings from above for the shoot as I think the patterns on it is similar to Marras's catwalk show's garments. Also, the big earrings is on trend in 2016 as well. 

 I have found a white blouse for the outfit in this shoot as to link to Antonio Marras's S/S 2016 collection. The white blouse look similar to the garments from the Marras's catwalk on below as the use of shirt collar and also the white color. The pleats from the top links to the model's garments from the catwalk. Also the A-line top from Marras's catwalk looks similar to the shirt which I've bought from above. The style from the catwalk looks feminine, elegant, youth and also girly and I think the top which I have bought for the shoot fits in the theme for the catwalk look.

Idea for the shoot : Backstage Photo

Make-up Designs:

Design 1:
For design 1, I have combined two ss16 trends and they are the cat eyes and also face studs. The pink gems shows the girly and feminine side of the collection and the cat eye gives a more mature looking. Vampire lips is one of the trends in 2016 S/S as well.

Design 2:

For design 2, I have used the gold color and apply it close to the upper lash line as the gold color matches the garment's color and also gold is one of the trends in SS16 as well. I have used a dark red lipcolor to show feminine and mature for the look and on the cheeks I have used an earth tone color blush to link to the color of the garments on the catwalk. 

Design 3:

For design 3, I have combined the ideas of face studs, vampire lips and tea stained eyes for the look as they are the SS16 trends and also because Marras uses earth tones for his collection, I want to use the tea stained eyes and blush to make connections with the garments. The pink gems are used to show the feminine and girl look.

I have chosen design 3 for my final design as I think the tea stained eyes suits the garments from Marras's catwalk as they both feature earth tones. The way I place the gems around the eye areas and also the vampire lips shows the feminine and elegant side of women and I think it looks very unique and interesting.

Hair Designs -

Design 1:
For design 1, I have decided to use a side parting with very sleek hair. I want to use the S/S 2016 trend where the hairstyle is half up and half down.

Design 2: 

For design 2, I have used the idea of the SS16 hair trends where it features fly away baby hair at the front and I will use sea salt spray to get the texture for the hair. I will use a middle parting as it is one of the hair trends in 2016. At the back of the hair, I will use a low ponytail at the back. The hairstyle looks soft and elegant which is suitable for Antonio Marras catwalk look. 

Design 3:

For design 3, I have decided to use the idea of the skeleton braid and create a new hairstyle using this method. It also features fly away baby hair which is one of the hair trends in 2016. The skeleton gives a delicate, feminine and also elegant style.

I have chosen design 2 for my final design as I like how the skeleton braids looks feminine, elegant and delicate which is suitable for Antonio Marras catwalk. 

Adding Hair Accessories:

I have added pearls and flowers to the hairstyle as they are two of the trends in SS16. I like this hairstyle as it helps the look to look more feminine and also more interesting. 

Mood board:

I have created a mood board for my catwalk look 1 and I have included my ideas for my catwalk look 1. I have included images of the accessories style I want to use on this shoot such as the earrings, pearls and dark red flowers as decorations on the head, skeleton braid for the hairstyle, tea stained eyes makeup with dark red lips. I have also included images of Antonio Marras S/S2016 catwalk show as I want to find a white, A-lined shirt with pleated patterns and polo neck. For the background, I have included an image of a silver fabric to represent elegant and feminine style of the look.
