Prepping the skin - If you have time, you can use face masks or use moisturizer and leave it on the skin (this helps for dry or dehydrated skin).
Make-up - For Oily skin to create a dewy look, you can use matte foundation and mix with some highlighter or liquid illuminator on the areas where you want to create the glow. Remember to avoid highlighting the pores in order to create the perfect skin.
You can use a tinted moisturizer to create extra glow on the skin before you start to apply foundation or concealer on the face. Apply concealer after apply foundation on the skin and just use concealer to cover the blemishes and imperfections on the face. For foundation, sometimes it is not necessary to apply it all over the face as if you create natural and fresh skin, you can just apply foundation on the forehead and blend it out.

Directions:
- First, cleanse, tone and moisturize the face.
- Apply matte primer on the face as the base.
- As we are creating a clean catwalk look, don't apply too much concealer on the face, only use it to cover the blemishes and dark circles on the face. For the dark circles under the eye, I have applied a pinkish red color concealer first and then cover it with a light skin tone concealer and these will help to reduce and cover the dark circles more effectively.
- Apply foundation. I have used a buffing brush to apply the foundation on the face as it helps to create a more natural finish.
- Then, apply loose powder with a puff to reduce the shine on the face to create the matte look.
- After that, I have contour the face a little bit to define the structure of the face. I didn't apply a lot of contouring as we are aiming to create a clean catwalk face look.
- Then, I have mixed the color black and brown to match the natural color of my model's eyebrows. I have used an angle brush to draw the eyebrows and follow the shape of my model's brows.
- Finally, apply a natural color powder blush to make the appearance fresh and healthy looking.
I'm pleased with the matte make-up look that I've done in this lesson and I think the texture of the skin works successfully.

Directions:
- First, cleanse, tone and moisturize the face.
- Apply CC cream as the base. The reason I choose to use CC cream as it can reduce the redness on the face, moisturize and also create a light finish.
- After that, I have used the same method as the matte make-up look to conceal the face. As we are creating a clean catwalk look, I didn't apply too much concealer on the face. I only cover the blemishes and conceal the dark circles.
- After that, apply loose powder. I have only apply the powder around the eye area, the area below cheeks and on the side of the forehead as I want to remain shine on the cheek area, nose bridge, middle of the forehead, cupid's bow and on the chin.
- Apply a natural color powder blush to make the appearance fresh and healthy looking.
- After that, I have used a glitter liquid liner and apply it on the inner corner of the eyes and below the lower lashes to brighten the eyes.
- Then, curl the lashes and apply mascara on the top lashes.
- Then, I have applied a natural lip color on the lips using my finger to create a more natural finish. After that, I have applied a clear color lip gloss on the top.
- Finally, I have applied the MAC Mixing Medium # Shine to create the dewy skin texture. I have applied it on the chin, cupid's bow, above the cheek area, nose bridge and middle of the forehead.
The wet dewy look which I've done in this lesson, I found it very different compare to the photos which was taken in the studio with the photos taken in the make-up room. The photos taken in the make-up room doesn't look too dewy, but when I took the photos from the studio, the skin tend to look more dewy and shiny. After I've looked at the photos taken in the studio, I think to improve next time, I should apply lesser shine on the nose bridge and the middle of the forehead.
I have done another natural dewy skin look and this time, I have used the benefit cream highlighter to create the dewy look and I'm pleased with the final results of the look. On below are the photos taken for the look and I like the way how it looks natural and create a healthy skin effect.
